Members of the Celestra Health team participated in the International Progressive MS Alliance digital workshop held in Philadelphia. We were honored to be one of five global digital biomarker firms selected to attend the 3-day workshop, recognized for technologies that have the potential to make a real difference for people living with Progressive MS.
We heard from two MS patients living with progressive forms of the disease and they had the following messages: (1) they are currently on a path whereby their health is inexorably worsening and (2) there is currently no cure. They thanked us (neurologists, researchers, industry) for doing what we are doing, but urged us to move faster, as time is not on their side.
For Celestra Health, this is a poignant reminder of the urgency behind our work. In addition to enhancing the current standard of care for patients, our technology has the potential to significantly reduce the time it takes for pharmaceutical companies to bring their new drugs to market, which will bring huge benefits to patients around the world living with progressive MS.
