Celestra Health Systems is a recognized world-leader in the measurement of neurological gait, with a singular focus on neurodegenerative diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s and ALS. By detecting subtle changes in walking quality as a key indicator for early detection of disease progression, our platform allows for early intervention before irreversible neurological damage occurs. Our platform also helps pharmaceutical firms assess drug therapy effectiveness more quickly than previously possible.

Celestra Health Systems’ proprietary AI algorithms objectively measure walking quality based on data collected by wearable insoles equipped with gyroscopes, accelerometers, and pressure sensors, as well as smart phones and smart watches. Our clinical trials have demonstrated that our gait algorithms measure walking quality with an equivalent level of accuracy as a multi-million-dollar gait laboratory. 

To date, we have conducted 9 clinical trials in 4 countries, in collaboration with a global team of neurologists and patient advisors. Our customers include global pharmaceutical firms, research institutions and healthcare providers; our gait measurement platform has been designated by the FDA as a Class II Software as a Medical Device. 

Given the tight-knit nature of our team, all employees work from the office (5 days a week) at our Kanata headquarters.[
