We were delighted to participate in MS Canada’s “Building Bridges MS Community Event” at The Ottawa Hospital. From a research perspective, we heard from Dr. Mark Freedman about the fast pace of innovation in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), especially in comparison to other neurological conditions; we also gained insights into the complex biological mechanisms that play a role in the disease. Patients shared their challenges and strategies for navigating life with the invisible symptoms of MS, and the value of a strong community. All in all, it was a great evening of learning and human connections - a big thank you to MS Canada for inviting us to be a part of this community event.
