Celestra Health participated in the two-day “Showcase in the Valley” investor event in San Francisco, organized by Canadian Entrepreneurs in Life Sciences (CELS). CELS is a remarkably well-connected non-profit organization aimed at assisting promising Canadian health sciences startups by exposing them to their extensive network of contacts.
Our time in San Francisco proved incredibly valuable. Day One featured focused one-on-one sessions with leading HealthTech advisors and investors from the Bay Area, offering insights and connections that will support our continued US expansion. As our lead market, the US is a key strategic priority for Celestra Health, and the relationships we formed during the showcase will help accelerate that trajectory.
In addition to our clinical trial at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and our US-based 200 patient CIDP direct-to-patient trial, we are now engaging with neurology clinics across the US to conduct beta pilots of our FDA-designated software platform. And it turns out that the quote attributed to Mark Twain holds true: “the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco”!
